Intro

Booksite (Pty) Ltd located in Bellville South is looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor.

Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain environment/department.
  • Sound Logistics or Supply Chain understanding would be advantageous.
  • Staff management experience would be advantageous.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office package)
  • Hard working, driven and goal orientated.
  • Good oral and writing skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team and/or independently.
  • Must have a BCom Degree or BTech in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Duties
  • Executing the daily work plan in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Releasing work as per warehouse requirement and priority.
  • Ensuring all picking is allocated to RF scanners and special orders on picking slips.
  • Ensuring daily SLA to publishers and customers are met.
  • Ensuring that Pickers pick stock correctly and accurately.
  • Ensuring that the quality of picked stock is according to Booksite standards.
  • Ensuring errors are managed and that there is continuous reduction in short, wrong, and over deliveries.
  • Ensuring HR related issues are attended to.
