A reputable Construction company in Cape Town is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

Candidate Requirements

Diploma in Project Management or similar
3 – 5 years as Project Manager in the Construction Industry
Own reliable transport
Build and maintain good relationships
Must be able to work independently
Trustworthy and reliable
Think out of the box
Communication skills
Attention to detail
Must be punctual
Assertive

Duties

Costings of project
Able to read plans accurately
Manages employees and oversees their work
Obtains all necessary regulations and permits
Orders necessary supplies, tools and equipment
Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports
Update schedules, track progress and document project progression
Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan
Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians and other specialists
Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion
Writes and submits testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists
Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed

Salary:

R30 000 per month
